    Just got to Dayton, Ohio with my ambivalent 15 year old son…he will get into it, I hope. Have options from here, we can go west towards Indy, or to SE Indiana. Hoping clouds clear here in the am. Optimal plan was to head to the AF museum (bucket list. Place I have always wanted to hit) to see the cool planes and the eclipse! Traffic was a breeze, not many cops avg’d about 83mph on I-70.

    82.0 right now…with the fine scent of new mulch permitting the neighborhood. Our house and both neighbors had crews arrive at 8am sharp to lay mulch, it was a mulch jam

    So I have a flight out of DCA at 6am to Atlanta on Saturday. I plan on parking on the top floor of short term parking, so will take a snow measurement from there (probably off someone’s car…I will be gentle, it’s for science). Figure we can see whose snow measurements are better…the FAA’s or a met school dropout. Stay tuned!
