  1. 42/29. Patiently waiting for my sprinkles to commence.
  2. I’m looking forward to opening my pool! Hopefully late April.
  3. There is always next year...
  4. For DC metro, time to fold wave 1 and 2 and go all in for wave 3 on Saturday.
  5. LOL, I don’t think we have a choice at this point.
  6. Especially any model from Canada.
  7. Yea us. Maybe we can claim the snow anus title from Charm City!
  8. Yep, I think one of these coming waves can hopefully produce! I worked in Tysons at the time and had to take several coworkers home in my CRV which was a champ in snow.
  9. Gonna hug the Mar 9, 1999 example the @Deck Pic threw out yesterday. That was a surprise over-performer, similar setup. I think the models have set the goal posts between Richmond and Baltimore, other than that Radar watching time tomorrow evening.
  10. Come on Canada, please be right for once. So the 12z models thus far paint 0-12in somewhere between Fredericksburg to the Mason Dixon line. Good luck NWS on this forecast!
  11. I’d be down with that, we only do miserable cool, damp springs lately. Mid 70’s and sun starting Apr 1 would be awesome after our upcoming glaciation period.
  12. Yes, definite over-performer! Would take a redo in an instant!
  13. Also, the Gulf of Mexico seems to be open for business, low level winds blowing from the south into the system feeding moisture. That’s the whole magic with this system warm moist air from the south, the cold from the north = moisture and a steady long duration over running event. Notice there is no potent vort or shortwave for this system.
  14. Generally that only happens with lighter moisture starved systems, this system isn’t moisture starved. Plus the mountains aren’t like the Sierra’s and we aren’t like Nevada.
  15. We lost cable in 2010 due to the snowstorm, it came back 30 minutes prior to the game, I fell asleep on the couch before halftime, exhausted from shoveling snow all day. Good times!
  16. Wow, Banter is in rare form today...so many plots and sub plots today, hard to keep up...
  17. Puking cotton balls under this little band.
  18. Just woke up to rain, But now transitioning to big ole fat flakes
  19. Friends reporting from NE Atl suburbs of an over performer, 1in when they were forecast to have 0. Good sign imho. Here on the tropical shores of the Potomac in SE Fairfax county, temp 40, do 30.
  20. Lol, thanks, yes feat! Been a pretty good experience, first week was rough but getting exponentially better with each day. Hope we avoid ice next week, that would be no fun on my new hip, plus my other one has to be replaced too (bad genes apparently), so walking is an adventure. When the hips went bad, I became a walking barometer, bad remaining one is beginning to act up, storm on the way!
  21. 55 and gorgeous out...went on a walk...just had my hip replaced 2 weeks ago so that was no small feet.
