  1. We’ve had a nice burst of snow the last hour or so, flakes seem much “fluffier”.. To bad the radar is not working as usual, probably wouldn’t show much anyway lol
  2. Another one that has to be watched later down the road.. Models do well pin pointing times of interest..
  3. We have a coastal storm and clipper potential between dec 5th-7th, being shown on all LR Guidance.. Euro had a beautiful w/wsw flow event in the middle of next week but we know how that can turn out lol Only matter of time before me and Matt see a true westerly flow, December is usually a great month for those east of the lake..
  4. Some Meso models showed rain for Pulaski, but I didn’t believe it because everywhere else was snowing.. Gotta give NWS credit, they put Pulaski at 1” and nailed it.. The warming from the lake halted 2 miles to my west, from nothing to double digits and this wasn’t even a true LES event lol
  5. Central oswego county is getting pretty good right now.. I'll probably catch the eastern end of it..
  6. Measured 9.1as of 10am, should make it to double digits as the snow is still accumulating.. It doesn’t hurt that we continue to get moisture streaming off the lake..
  7. It’s like a mini lake effect event.. Really coming down at the moment..
  8. Guess the models didn’t do to bad with the “enhanced” precipitation..
  9. Bennett’s bridge in the eastern part of Altmar had 8” as of 7 am while Pulaski only had 1”..
  10. I’ll have to measure soon, wouldn’t be surprised if we have at least 8”-9”.. We have been under heavy echoes all night and morning..
  11. Problem is we will be fighting BL issues all day tomorrow..After lunchtime it's probably white rain or a mix, unless we get into some heavier echos.. Given marginal surface temperatures Wednesday afternoon... the bulk of the accumulation should come between tonight and the first half of Wednesday.. .with marginal temperatures again helping to keep the bulk of any accums confined to tonight and Wednesday morning. Some Models have precip hanging on till thursday morning..
  12. Lets see how much of this can make it down to me...
  13. Yeah a little bit but it’s more about the lake influence, going west towards Pulaski.. They tend to have much more mixing..
  14. I have several inches in the wooded area's , some patches of grass started showing this morning. Keep in mind i haven't cut my grass for the final time lol I hopped on 81 to pulaski on my way home from fulton, it was snow then at about 9 pm, not sure what happened.. Matt, I have way more snow then pulaski lol So i'm sure you do .. We have a little micro climate on centerville road, half the road is bare and the other half has several inches , it's like that every storm ..
  15. Looks like we will take a break from winter for a week or so.. Dec 5th-10th has been showing some potential on the last couple runs of the gfs.. Canadian also looks pretty good at the end of it's run..
  16. Feels good to have a solid covering again, as i briefly had a patches of grass this morning.. Granted it probably won't last too long anyway.. Snowing pretty good at the moment ..
  17. Few pictures the wifey took on her way up to malone NY..
  18. Every meso has the same look.. Most of this is yet to come.. But daytime could limit accumulations with precip lasting till early afternoon..
  19. 3k came in colder like the hrrr and brings the freezing line to the lake shore, unfortunately going to take time..
  20. Nice to see a little green on radar.. Snowing the heaviest it has all day.. Big wet flakes, still sitting at 32°..
  21. Have an 1.5" on the day, lost 1/2" that i had this morning lol Hrrr from 1z on, going to be interesting to see where this materializes, temps still below freezing as of 1 pm tomorrow..
  22. Heading down to Fulton at the moment, roads were pretty nasty up until maple view, temp jumped 3 degrees with more wet then white in Mexico..Almost into Fulton, doesn’t look much different..
