  1. This will have a significant impact on the Buffalo and Rochester metro areas, where a tenth to a quarter inch of ice is expected during the day on Wednesday. Temperatures will only be in the mid 20s when freezing rain starts, and will only gradually rise during the day, struggling to rise above freezing by sunset. Significant icing is also expected across the North Country, where precipitation may start off as a brief period of sleet.
  2. Gfs looks a little wierd with this 2 low structure.. It's really not that far off from the euro..If that HP was located bettter like the euro it would be forced to pop a secondary sooner.. Some places still see 4"-6" on the gfs before flipping..
  3. Verbatim the euro is a warning criteria event with a region wide 6"-10" with a little more east of ontario due to enhancement, at 10-1..
  4. Euro has shown a hit 3 consecutive runs , not they it matters much at this juncture lol

  6. What a beautiful day out, sitting at 54°, wonder if we can make a run at 60.. Just took my first 5 mile walk of the year!!! Just like how you beef cakes love to go to the gym I Walk Walk Walk lol Haven't been to the gym since I was 18, I'm now 36 lol I walked most of this in a calendar year dropping from 250lb to 165lb, walking in nature is also a tremendous stress reliever and the best medicine you can use for anxiety/ADHD/depression. Winter who? Haha

  16. SWS Issued earlier.. ..A BAND OF INTENSE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON...CENTRAL LEWIS AND NORTHEASTERN OSWEGO COUNTIES... At 1143 PM EST, A band of heavy lake effect snow producing snow fall rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour extended from near Ellibsurg and Mannsvile eastward across the Tug Hill to just south of Lowville. This band was drifting very slowly to the south at about 5 mph. Winds in excess of 30 mph are occuring in and near this band of lake effect snow. This will result in blowing and drifting snow with greatly reduced visibility. Locations impacted include... Sandy Island Beach State Park, Lowville, Pulaski, Adams, Redfield, Selkirk Shores State Park, Highmarket, Barnes Corners, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Southwick Beach State Park, Richland, Watson, Martinsburg, Lyonsdale, Greig, Orwell, Lorraine, Sandy Creek, Port Leyden and Lacona. Starting to really come down now..
