  1. I may be a little to far north for tomorrows band so we'll see.. Looks like a central oswego county event at the moment..
  2. It's actualy colder down that way then up here.. Weather underground showing mid 20's from the southern tug to pulaski. Lower 20's down your way and lower 30's just south of downtown syracuse..Wierd lol
  3. NWS must of heard my complaints lol Took rain out the forecast added some snow accumulation. Tonight Freezing rain and sleet before 11pm, then snow showers and sleet between 11pm and 1am, then snow showers after 1am. Low around 23. Breezy, with a southeast wind 18 to 23 mph decreasing to 6 to 11 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

  5. 3k nam sets up a band in central oswego county similar to the euro..Keeps me right on the northern fringes as usual lol
  6. Euro also has the changeover occuring around 1 am, the same time the NWS has us changing to rain..
  7. They really are ass backwards sometimes though.. They took out snow overnight and put rain all the way into the tug.. Nam has snow by 1am..
  8. The premise for the NWS forecast was the "potential" for wrap around moisture with the developing coastal as well as lake enhancement and or lake effect, not from the primary ..They made that abundantly clear lol The forecast for the primary was 3"-7"/4"-8" for the majority of oswego county.. With that being said that was still to high lol
  9. Interestingly enough we are seeing mostly ZR not pellets..(some mixed in)
  10. I miss the old days when i had no idea weather models existed.. You wanted to know the weather just look out the window lol Or waiting till 3 am to watch the "local on the 8's" update,, Watching paul kocin hoping he would put me in the "pink", brighter the better haha Good ole days..When weather was fun..
  11. Pretty much all she wrote with this one.... Nws now has kfzy up to mid 30s tonight and rain.. Wednesday, a blustery day is in store with scattered to numerous snow showers along with a continued biting wind still gusting into the 40-50 mph. This will produce some blowing snow conditions, with blowing and drifting snow east of Lake Ontario. Accumulations will be fairly manageable for this time period, but the blowing snow may result continued issues surrounding transportation. With slow and steady cold air advection, temperatures won`t change much from the morning`s lows. This will result in most areas remaining at or below freezing. During the afternoon, a lake effect band should be taking shape over Lake Ontario with a weak upstream connection off of the slushy Lake Erie. This should slowly move east toward the entrance to the St Lawrence river in the afternoon and possibly move into Watertown toward the end of the day. Wednesday night, the main feature of interest will be on the mesoscale with a lake band slowly moving south across the Eastern Lake Ontario region. It should end up ESE over Oswego County, but synoptic moisture will be moving east away from the region with a corresponding lowering of the boundary layer capping inversion, the event may not have lasting intensity to carry it through the night. Will extend the winter storm warning through Wednesday night for Oswego as the synoptic event transitions to lake effect.
  12. On the gfs from the 16th-28th max 850mb temps are -8c with -25C as we had into march which is obviously way out there..
