  1. Could be some nice wrap around for the tug/dacks...
  2. Ukmet is on the board with the Canadian.. Precipitation struggles to make it this far north.
  3. Para not to different from the icon.. One would think the euro comes north tonight..
  4. Para is far enough north to bring rain.. Euro jackpots VA lol
  5. Either the euro is out to lunch or every other model is lol
  6. For the mid week system the euro is the southern outlier at the moment.. Bringing it from wisconsin to VA lol As it squashes the crap out of it..
  7. Tim samaras was one of the safest chasers out there and unfortunately still lost his life due to a tornado..
  8. Looks like another tyipcal event lol WSW flow-NW flow , leaving a nice donut hole into oswego county, lock it in..
  9. Thats a good look for the southern peeps if it verified..
  10. Euro has some pretty good wrap around/enhancement on monday followed by Lake effect mon night/ tuesday, mainly S/SE of the lakes..
  11. Joe Bastardi‏Verified account @BigJoeBastardi FollowFollow @BigJoeBastardi More Grand Planetary wave example ( pole to tropic of cancer) March 12-14 1993 vs 240 hour euro Interesting eh?
  12. New updated seasonal snowfall map.. Not that i 100% buy it especially when looking at the last 15 years of spotter reports and winter season summarys.. They have 300" in an area that has not even one 300 inch year on the winter summary page lol How is that possible..
  13. Fulton proper only averages about 15-25" less a year then here.. It's the several degrees colder that is most beneficial, keeping snow on the ground longer and helping during marginal situations.. Fulton has probably scored more off the lake then i have this year..
  14. Kfzy is at 98" on the year but they also had 17" last week when just outside fulton/oswego did not.. Been a sketchy year lol but not an all time worst, at least not here..
  15. WPC Flatter flow downstream over central and eastern U.S. next week reduces potential for big storms, but a series of smaller/less predictable systems will progress over the region. This will still favor cold air surges/anomalously cold temps through the n-central U.S. and snow swaths over the northern tier states.
  16. There becomes a great deal of uncertainty Tuesday and into Wednesday with the evolution of the upper air pattern. While Tuesday may be dry, a passing upper level shortwave Wednesday may bring additional light snow to the region. There is still a good deal of timing, and strength of this next shortwave at this time. I'm sure this will find a way to keep trending north over the next several days.. Para/cmc and icon all north of the gfs.. 0z euro looked farther south giving accumulating snows to the Mid-Atlantic coast..
  17. Early march we may be rooting for that SE ridge lol
  18. Gfs para finds the weakness, brings the storm farther north..
  19. Carbon copy of what last event was supposed to be lol
  20. Flow is pretty zonal.. Weak Lp should travel west-east.. Hp will have a big say on exact track, at this given lead time..Me think..
  21. Potential for another Light snow event tues into wed..
  22. In other News. Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim was behind the wheel of a car that hit a pedestrian on a highway, killing the man, the Onondaga County (New York) District Attorney told WSYR on Thursday. DA Bill Fitzpatrick told the station that the man was outside his car on Interstate 690 after being involved in another unrelated accident due to bad weather. Boeheim's car struck the man around midnight. Boeheim, 74, had coached the Orange against Louisville at the Carrier Dome earlier Wednesday night. Fitzpatrick told the station that Boeheim is cooperating with the investigation. According to the DA, no evidence of alcohol or drugs was detected, and Boeheim was traveling at the proper speed for the highway.
