This will result in flooding in small creeks, and cause ponding of water in low-lying areas. Some road closures are possible. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lowville, Central Square, Redfield, Highmarket, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Brewerton, Constantia, West Monroe, New Bremen and Watson.

A cold front will cross the region this evening and mark the onset of stronger wind gusts to 50 mph. This front will near #Dunkirk around 6 pm, the #Buffalo region around 7 pm, and then the Genesee Valley between 8 and 9 pm. Much stronger winds will occur later this evening.
