Nice little surprise as I expected most of the decent stuff to stay south..Wind starting to die down, big fluffy flakes..

NWS now going all snow Sunday night/Monday, looks like a 1/3"-2"-4" type deal east of Ontario, could still flip to light rain with forecasted temps in the mid 30s..

Going to be a cold one tonight, could go below zero if we clear out quick enough..

Well it made it up here, ripping out right now..Not sure how much staying power it has..

The airport itself had 2.6" as of 1245pm..

At 835 AM EST, an area of very heavy snow was located along a corridor from Elmira to Ithaca, to Cortland, Syracuse and Rome New York. This area of very heavy snow will drift slowly off to the southeast over the next few hours. Locations impacted include... Onondaga, Syracuse, Chemung, Utica, Clay, Cicero, Ithaca, Elmira, Auburn and De Witt. Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in this area of heavy snow. Snowfall rates up to 3 inches per hour have been reported.

Going to be some impressive totals in onieda county..

Where in Monmouth? I grew up in Jackson NJ , not far from great adventure.. I actually moved here from freehold (home of Bruce Springsteen lol)..My in-laws still live out that way..

Nice. I experienced a ton of huge storms living along the coast, with 1996 Always#1 in my heart lol What part of BK u lived in? The entire family is from Brooklyn, I worked near Coney island for 6 years..
