  1. I get the eye again. What a storm that would be. The wind would be insane
  2. If only. I’d be happy with a 2-4” event then all the cold to keep a snow pack.
  3. There’s 3” out this way but it’s a true glacier. I’m driving car on top without breaking through. 1” of qpf locked in
  4. I’m a sucker for the stealth look. I had a xterra and blacked out the rims and bought bf mud terrains for it. My current truck has the flat black rims and muds as well.
  5. I’d bring 16 down to 12. 1-2ft m and a over 2ft h
  6. That’s the chill weenie rule. Hug the model that shows the most snow
  7. It’s euros turn to lead the way. It wants its crown back from GFS
  8. Nice report. I forgot to mention I had a low barometer of 28.98” which right around 982mb. Also my gauge at Fairfield I melted down 1.01” liquid.
  9. Storm Summary for Cashtown: snow total 3.8” 3.2” initial snow then .2” sleet for 3.4” then an additional 0.4” of snow from backend band. 0.98” liquid high for the event was 36 and highest wind gusts was 32. Current snow depth is 3” and should stick around for awhile.
  10. I think each model added value to the storm. It’s just being able to identify before hand. GFS lead the way long range, nam picked up on mix line and dry slot, hrrr had the heavier qpf. Makes it hard to be able to blend everything into a perfect forecast.
  11. Radar doesn’t look great but it’s snowing pretty good right now over here.
  12. I ended up with 3.2”, Thurmont had about the same, so it’s hard to say. Can prob get a better picture when pns gets updated.
