So you are not buying the 105-110 temps that version of the GFS spit out? Ironic that high happened near the normal peak of norms.
Anything is possible but that range is approaching all-time records. Sure an airport could hit 100 but 105+ is hard to come by.

Could be some low 90's in NJ already.
Looking back on my records, the hottest temp I've recorded since starting in 2008 was 101F on July 21st 2011. My 7am ob temp that morning was 80f. I remember the day quite well as there was a golf tournament that morning and everyone playing were miserable.

They can fix that by paying people to do it....unfortunately. That would end up with a lot of 30 and 40 somethings shooting each other though.
Gettysburg Battlefield Style. Higher snipers to shoot deer out of helicopters.

I think in a decade or two the deer population is going to be an issue (if not now.) Not only are there less people hunting, but 10-15% of the US population is some level of not red meat eating as to their diet (began pesca, vegetarian, etc) . Much, much higher than just 30 years ago when it was 1-2 percent.
Good point with diets changing.

It seems this year there are a lot of critters around. Not to mention squirrels, chipmunks, mice. And hardly anyone the last few years hunts small game anymore. I also noticed that the deer have become so brave lately coming close to the house and in the garden.
That’s very true. I think a lot has to do with the younger generations not following in their parent’s footsteps. Deer hunting for example, you could basically get as many doe tags as you wanted in my wma zone of 5A last year. That was unheard of, even 5 years ago but there’s not enough hunting licensees being sold and the deer harvest is down. And no young hunters taking the place of the older generation unable to go out anymore.

Did you even go to bed? Same here with rain though not as important as your course. Grass has basically gone stagnate where no shade.
Yeah around 6 lol. My summer sucks. But easy over winter and plenty of time to track. I’ll have the VP2 100% installed later today. The sensor suite is running now , just need to install anemometer today.
