    In the foreseeable future....Thurs looks wet with inch plus amounts...Nam wants to keep warm front into central nj again, so would be cool and raw north of there if correct.

    Another 0.16" since midnight, 0.97" for event. Cold front thru as temp down to 60° after hitting 70 a few hours ago. Looks like another soaker possible wed night into thurs.

    We've basically been in a wet pattern now since Feb 2018...Most rain threats live up to or exceeds expectations. ....We'll see how much longer this will last...My station has received about 95" of precip during this period.

    I've always had a manual gage to go along with the davis as clogging does happen as you mentioned. I've had the big 8" diameter nws gage for over 30 years now.

    Keep in mind that noaa hasn't predicted a below normal winter in the NE in a long time...I believe it's something like 10 to 15 years? At my station, going back 18 years it's split evenly between above and below normal winters as are the last 10 years. The last three winters have averaged above however. Lot of cold Marches lately, if you want to extend things.

    20 90+ days here so far this season...that's about normal for the entire season...looks like a couple more in the near term before we cool down.

    Added another 90° day here yesterday, and 89 on Thursday.
