  6. If I recall correctly, the March 2001 storm wasn't a rain bust but a too far East development for snow bust...at least for more western locations. I remember listening to one of the accuwx mets saying how the storm would be moving west closer to the coast...and I kept looking at radar saying no it wont.
  7. No neither uncle or I live in Westerleigh, that was another observer

  13. I'm always surprised how little the general public knows about weather and weather forecasting...now of course I don't expect them to be crazy about it like we are, but like you said, Im always hearing from friends and family about some forecast that they said they heard that I know isn't correct...Weather affects people's every day decisions about what to wear, when to leave, how to travel etc., but people still just seem so duh about it.
  14. Any night with light winds, mostly clear skies and a relatively dry airmass will do it...same here last night, 10-15° cooler.
  15. Made it to 60° today after a am low of 34°...Any rain we see tomorrow should be light so with 1.65" for the month, this would be the first month with under 2" since Nov of 2017.
  16. Calm cold night, 34° this am...Just about normal for the date.
  17. 0.69" total and 1.68" for the month...Pressure bottomed out at 29.24".
  18. 0.60" here, some more rain to rotate thru but not as much as forecasted for some spots.
  19. My shop is open year round as I enjoy all aspects of weather...be it snow storms, rain storms, heat, cold etc. etc. I don't go into a tailspin if it doesn't snow lol.
  20. Finally some precip during a dry month...0.40" and raining moderately. Had a 42/36 temp split today. Normals for today are 52/36 so still a -10 departure on the high.
