  1. Was nice while it lasted ...big flakes, little snow piles when measuring lol...i'll put it down as 0.7".
  2. Been snowing heavily here last 30 minutes or so...surprized.
  3. 2020 was 2nd warmest year for my 43 years of record, only 2012 averaged warmer. You want perfection? Precip totaled 48.82" which is exactly normal.
  4. Yes agree about the the liquid equivalent totals...See very few observers posting their le's... Its a decent way to kinda verify your snowfall measurements.
  5. 8.5" total here with the 2.5" that fell overnight...Melted came in at 1.01".
  6. Had 0.5" mostly sleet past couple hours to go along with the earlier 5.5" of snow, so 6" officially...lines up well with my 0.65 melted equiv.
  7. Snowed pretty good for awhile here on si...covered all non paved areas, temp dropped to 32° during snow...Put it down as 0.2"...First measurable snow since Jan 18th.
  8. You meant Nov right lol... Here it was 5th warmest but only 0.4° from the warmest.
  9. I may be wrong, but I don't believe that ferry crash was weather related....pilot error . The captains doctor had his license suspended due to the findings.... The doctor happened to be our family doctor also.
  10. Looks like the mesonet gusted to 61mph... having some station problems so not too sure of my winds.
  11. Yeah record cold outbreaks last two November's followed by crummy winters...hopefully things work in reverse this year.
  12. 75° high here, 3rd straight record high...possible tomorrow and Wednesday also. 43 years of record....44° low btw.
  13. Man a pattern like this in Dec-Mar....Such a strong anomalous ridge, where you know days in advance, that nothings gonna be happening for 10 winter wasting days.
  14. 75° here today was record for date, coming off a low of 45°.
  15. 74/47 temp split today...the 74° reading tied record high for date.
  16. Chilly 44/30 temp split today...Will finish up month with a +0.8 degree temp departure. Precip 5.97".
  17. Same here on si...They still haven't figured out forecasting temps here...we're not urban Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens. One of my pet peeves lol.
  18. Turned out to be a wet October with a 5.97" total here. Drought never affected these parts.
  19. Looks like 2.59" will do it for event.... 2.88" last 6 days.
  20. Well the original two storm and heavier precip totals idea worked out well.
  21. Some sleet and flakes have been mixing in.... 2.50" precip total so far for event.
