    Another 89° high here... stuck at 11 for month and 32 for season for 90° temps.

    Last year after Ida on 9/1, station rainfall from 7/1 to 9/1 was 29.01".... this year pending what may fall midweek, is 4.39".

    78° here with onshore flow...only managed 72° for am low.

    Had winds go onshore here for awhile again to stop me short of 90°. You're ahead of me for Aug. 90's but equal on the seasonal number. I think we've mentioned this before but interesting how we both started our records in 1973...I do consider 1977 though as my "official" beginning, for some reason that I don't remember lol.

    Another 89° high here after 70° low...still at ten 90° days for Aug, and 32 for season.

    Station warmest August on record is 2016 while warmest met summer is 2010...both are in play.

    88° today before the showers...0.28".

    Yeah a small but well placed shower dropped 0.26" here and dropped temp from 88° down to 77°.

    Finally... Been pouring here, up to 1.30" for day.

    I think this event has gone pretty much as expected with the heavier rains to the nw and other scattered areas ( Jersey shore)...it is after all, convective.

    88° today...winds went onshore around noon.

    Sea breeze moved thru around 2pm...dropped temp from 91° down to 83 currently.

    91° here...hit 89 yesterday.

    Warmest Aug here was in 2016, warmest summer was 2010 and driest summer was 1999, among the records in play for me.

    That pop up shower just gave a quick 0.64" to northern si.

    Yeah it's really only been dry for a couple of months...our problems arise if we have very dry winters and springs..that's when our reservoirs fill up.

    Yes then 10" more in September when Ida started the month. It was crazy.

    Still a couple of weeks to go of course, but rainfall here for July-Aug last year was 20.98"...so far this year 2.50"... normal is 9.40".

    2.51" here since 7/1.

    This dry pattern started abuptly last year after the absurdly wet July- Oct period. Nov and Dec came in with under 2" of rain each month here...Jan - May were close to normal with the dryness returning in June for many of us.

    0.25" this am... hi temp yesterday of 85°.
