  1. Had a high temp here of 71° at around 11 am...temps been in upper 60's most of day...Smoke probably kept temps around 10° lower than what we would have seen.

  4. Small storm went right over me...0.25 " rain with some close lightning strikes...wind gust to 40 mph. Nothing at my other gage a short distance away.
  5. Onshore flow capped my temp at 91° after noon... nice am again at 56° , currently 70°.
  6. 85/52 split here today, with an onshore flow all day.
  7. Yeah looks like 0.91" station rain total for May will do it.... lowest May total during my 42 years. Old record was 1.30" way back in 1986....normal is 4.50".
  8. Been radiating down into the 40's here last few mornings, actually only missing station record lows by a couple degrees.
  9. Had 4.90" here storm total and 6.64" past 9 days...also pressure got to 28.99". During the preceding dry spell, the 38 day period 3/15-4/21 saw just 0.97". Always end our dry spells in a big way, don't we.

  11. Looking at the local Davis stations...3.50-4.00" looks to be a common event total so far...this is for si and nearby points s and w.
  12. Most of the 1.05" today fell between 1:30 and 3:00 this am.
  13. Wow close to 1" of rain has fallen since midnight here, now 3.50" for event.

  17. September finished here with a +0.8° departure and 3.87" rain.
  18. Yeah 0.57" here, not surprised by the rain split with the low spinning to the sw and the frontal rains moving nne offshore.
  19. Even in what may be our drier period on avg, most stations still average 3.75" to 4" of rain for the oct- Dec ,months, so barring an absence of synoptic events as the season progresses we should be ok....I hope.
  20. 1.46" since midnight with about 1.20" of that falling in 30 minutes around 4 am.

  22. Made it to 90° here today with 0.36" rain past 90 minutes.
  23. Final Aug/summer station stats....Aug was 2nd warmest since 1977 just behind 2016....Summer tied for 2nd warmest with 2020, behind 2010. Did wind up with 2.98" rain for Aug, so this summer finishes at 4th driest.
  24. 0.35" here, also 72°, low for day.
