Same here, I had them too. Same thing happened 2 years ago on a Monday night against KC on the last play of the game. I came into today in my pickem league in first place by one game. So far I'm 0-9. Unreal.
I'm optimistic as well. This just doesn't have the feel of dud winter where we're stuck in a hostile shutout pattern being tortured for weeks trying to chase a change to something favorable. I see no indication that we all don't reach our annual averages and accompanied by a few rather cold periods.
We could use a 50-75 shift south especially since a lot of these systems tends to send the waa snows north into PA the last minute. Never good being on the southern edge for measurable frozen. Plus it would get more of the forum into some action.
By the end of next weekend over 2/3rds of the month will be over and it will have resembled nothing like many of the more recent December's. Everyone is in the game for some frozen in the next 10 days along with some pretty cold days. Not too bad at all to start with for the season.
We're mixing here too. Cold was not the problem with this set up. Darn shame more energy didnt come out with this wave because this could've easily been a nice event.
Bad game. Too many slow starts finally caught up to them. Cowan came back down to earth. Never got into their offense and couldn't run any good sets. Bigs need to get tougher on block when on offense. They probably were a little tired as well. They've played a lot of games the last 2 weeks and for some reason they can't win at Penn State. They should be solid come February.
Euro temps are colder than GFS for Monday. Has our area in the mid 30's at its warmest and throws out about .15 liquid. Somehow double that output which isn't impossible and it could get fun for a while.
Certainly not an impossible solution. Maybe some similarities to December 82 storm. If memory serves I think the first part of the storm was a cold rain with a little mix then the coastal took over and most of the forum got thumped.
