  1. A couple of HRRR runs showed it, but it showed it filling back in quickly. It's gradually starting to fill in back in SE AL right now.

Updated for the 18Z Aviation Discussion. In the near term, forecast is on track with the next wave of moisture moving into the region later this afternoon/evening. We are working now to fine-tune the wintry precipitation timing and location.   4. I went with the second choice, but deep down I was tempted to change my vote for the third one. Nobody likes to be stuck inside in the dark, but ice storms are visually pretty like snow storms. The weather geek in me finds some fun and excitement in all weather extremes.
