That video lays out why '78 is and will remain the GOAT. It's like debating Jordan vs. LeBron.

I rode my scooter home down the West Side highway from Battery Park in a very light rain. My wife thought I was nuts, but it was 10x than trying to navigate the subway. The bike paths there fortunately drain very well - almost no standing water.

I have a feeling Riverside Park is going to lose some big trees today. Been saying that for two years. There's lots of erosion. Huge old trees on slopes. They randomly fall on sunny days.

That storm over the Bronx is just not moving. Only expanding.

Had to put the high temp distribution in another post. And these show the actuals with range for Sept.
-
I spent some time visualizing long term temp trends last year. The data set was through last December, I believe. So the 2020s data is only 20,21 and 22. But the trends are stark. This all show the distribution of high and low temps (Aug to Nov) and freezing temps in cold season.

That was an absolute banger on the UWS (100s). Everything: strobe light lighting, strike near us (judging by sound), whistling wind. Sheets of rain.

What is this from NYRR??? low 40s at 7-8 AM in mid March is exactly seasonal. Lol. I ran in 2015,16 and 17 and the temp was between low 30s and upper 30s…

I resigned myself to nothing for days... but could not let escape the thought that being outside the bullseye from Day 7 down to Day 3 could ultimately pay dividends... -

I'll take e21 to go, please. -
Almost no snow downtown. Just moved into a new office right above the Bull. DM me if you want to know how long the line is to get a picture with his balls

Upon further inspection, it’s a healthy 2”. I’d say with compaction it was probably 2.5 or so.

I'm on the UWS in the low 100s. I just went outside for the first time this AM and my first thought was - about a 2" snowfall.
