No idea how we're over a foot. It's been nothing but pixie dust for the past 4 hours.
At least here the pixie dust has piled on. I eye-balled so don't take my word for it, but it looks like it.

I feel like we have around 13" out there so far, which is a huge win in my book
-
-
If anything it seemed to get worse? Barely snowing right now.

Just checked outside again. Just pixie dust for now.
Radar seems to have improved, but the flakes don't share that look.

I made a very poor judgement on my snowfall map, I trust the models too much and you get burned
Life's about growing and learning, James. Just take what you learned and apply it in the future.

Go outside. Those needles accumulate.
And blow away too, I have a huge range of spots to measure.

I just love verifying Blizz conditions when BOX is always so reluctant to hoist them up in the city

Death band making its way east?
-
Starting to pick up again, the snow if ultra fine. Almost looks like it's snowing sugar.
-
Can't see how areas under that band don't jack! So close yet so far away.
Light snow now and much brighter.

snow picked up again now. I think Ray and I may do we'll if this band can do what I think it might.
I just need that band to move a bit to the east, thanks!

Doing quite well in the middle point between 95 and 495 today... Framingham reported 10.8 at 11 AM, we'll easily surpass the foot mark if we've not already, and it looks like the best stuff will shift back over and crank for a bit yet still to come.
Plus, we've not really been "out" of the good stuff yet. A nice showing.
With Natick at 14" at noon I can't imagine Framingham not getting to a foot.

Tiny flakes coming down right now. Lightened up fast.
-
I know, "who cares?!", but boy did Cranky bust with the whole "everything is gonna shift east" narrative.

Man must be wild under that band in Worcester.
Pushing 10" here

Def lightened up here as we wait for those ocean bands to make their way in

Boston folks that mega band to our northwest looks to be decaying and maybe reforming over Worcester?
We'll get our turn... all that will collapse over us, and in the meantime watch that sharp process to our east incoming...
Not worried, that stuff coming in from the ocean is def gonna deliver.

Bet Logan comes in with 5" at 1pm.

I can only imagine what one of these cells would do to us in the deep of winter
