    That march 2017 storm was something else. The world around me was like a glacier. Hardest snow I've ever shoveled, all 3" of it.

    This has been a great winter for me. Prior to this I never experienced a WSW level snow. This winter I got two of them and beat climo!

    5.25" in Germantown and now the thickest snow of the entire storm is falling. Huge parachutes. Dare I say it... It's ripping fatties.

    Lol, I've got to drive later. I'm not dealing with ice chunks for a week, nor am I waiting for the ice/freezing rain to crust me in.

    Interesting, I have 5" right now in Germantown. For whatever reason I seem to have a microclimate that is always about 1" above yours.

    I actually think this is the heaviest snow I've ever seen. I've never seen whiteout conditions save for the "blizzard" wave we got a few weeks ago, but that was wind whiteout and not just striagt up snow whiteout.

    Thanks. There are at least 2-3 cars stuck when I was driving back. There's a particular hill a little down the road from it that cars seem to have a lot of trouble getting up right now. I THINK it's even a snow emergency route, and still the road is bad.

    It's snowing so much it looks like it's a heavy rain downpour in Germantown.

    And oh my god. Do NOT try to drive in this stuff. Got about 2" in Germantown right now but the snow is SUPER slick and slippery. The roads... people kept saying they'd be fine and would stay above 32. Yeah, that's NOT the case in Germantown right now. The roads are littered with cars with their flashers on just sitting there.
