  3. From the SPC long range discussion: Thereafter, latest guidance suggests that broad and deep surface cyclogenesis is possible to the east of the Rockies by the middle of next week. The magnitude of this wave appears supportive of at least some risk for considerable severe weather potential that could impact portions of the Plains into the Mississippi Valley next Tuesday/Wednesday, and portions of the Southeast, and perhaps Mid Atlantic, by 12z Friday April 7th. However, too many uncertainties exist, both on the larger and smaller-scale, to allow a forecast of 15 percent probabilities at this time
  4. 2 more tornadoes confirmed near Thrall, TX. Both EF2. This brings the event total to 6 tornadoes. there was also a damaging wind event confirmed near those tornadoes as well; estimated winds between 120-140 mph. Insane.
  5. Putting Green- EF1 110 mph (almost EF2, damn). 4th tornado- EF0. Garden Ridge.
  6. 3 confirmed tornados so far. EF1 in Alamo Heights. EF0 Converse (1.5 miles from me) and another on Putting Green Road.
  7. Tornado hit about 3-4 miles north of me. I knew the storm had that QLCS notch on the radar and sure enough it went warned soon after. Nasty storm.
  8. South Central and SE Texas just got bumped from a marginal risk to an enhanced risk for tomorrow; all in one outlook. Wonder if the front being further north than modeled today has influenced that.
  9. I was going to say, the recent runs seem to be slowing down the dry line just a bit, which may help those of us on the fringe. First severe weather day for me down here since moving from Detroit. Looking forward to a decent round of storms in SA.
  10. I'm new to the San Antonio area. Recently transplanted from Detroit, MI. Gotta say I was unprepared for the heat and lack of interesting weather so far since I've been here. Didnt rain once since I arrived 6/5/16. Interesting to say the least. Anyway, I look forward to posting in here when it does become more active.
  11. Hello, all. New poster. Unbelieveable outbreak today. I'm thinking, in terms of devastation and deaths, it could rival or equal 74. Unbelievable to see all the coverage and videos of the tornado that treked through Tuscaloosa and Birmingham proper as well. Very scary day, and its continuing into the night.
