We weren't forecasted to see much until later on today, but the interaction of the stalled frontal boundary and the outer bands of Helene are interacting already in Metro Charlotte.

I am planning on following the tornado and the high wind threats starting on Thursday in the Southeastern forum. This might be something to watch locally in that regional forum.

Tropical-related Tornado Watch extended until 7AM due to the ongoing tornadic threats related to the remnants of Debby over Central and Eastern NC along with nearly all of VA, and DC.

That could be slightly concerning as the system has yet to pass. It could still spin up isolated rotating thunderstorms in the eastern NC through tonight.
