  1. It looks like means should hold steady, just for what its worth.
  2. Honestly, it always makes me nervous for a mostly snow storm if it isnt snowing in Nashville.
  3. Someone smarter than me can speak on this but I swear I remember hearing there's something about the ICON's resolution that doesnt do well with CAD.
  4. I think the 6z ICON would’ve been a good run if it had ran out through the duration. It was snowing in Charlotte and Greenville at 120.
  5. 6z EPS run looks significantly better than 0z. 2" mean line moved about 100 miles east.
  6. If ZR at 28 degrees was quickly self limiting then I didn’t lose power for a week in 2002
  7. Yeah if you’re anywhere from Greenville to the triangle, temps would be around 28-29 IMBY.
  8. Yeah, ouch if that’s true. Come on euro and icon.
  9. Every bit the snowstorm IMBY that December was and probably more. Some times the euro follows it(and vice versa) so we’ll see, I guess.
  10. Yup, snow to ice to rain. Nothing on the backside this run. Honestly, I’m more concerned with what the UK and EC has than either GFS.
  11. I think it’s going to be a snow/ice/snow run but we’ll see.
  12. It definitely won’t be as west as the FV3 for sure. Whether it’s right is another issue.
  13. It’s possible this is another impressive GFS run.
  14. The good news is the GEFS doesn’t really indicate cutting. The bad news is the mean went down and there’s basically about 2 or 3 ensemble members that agree with the OP.
  15. FV3 cuts west of West Virginia. Some onset ice but that’s it.
  16. That might put it over the top as the top snow season of all time. That has never happened as far as I can recall.
  17. QPF for MBY this run went from two or three hundreds to three tenths.
  18. Agreed. My gut feeling is it trends wetter just going by seasonal trends.
  19. It's definitely not a major event but it would push places like GSP and Charlotte above average on snow for the season.
  20. In general about 3-5" along a line from Clemson Agricultural College to Chapel Hill plus points N&W.
  21. Euro winners are the area around Mt. Mourne/Davidson and Southern Burke County. Both of those areas are just shy of half a foot.
  22. Kinda like a lighter version of the canadian from yesterday.
