  1. Euro has arctic front snow(light) for most of NC and SC then another major arctic push day 9 with heavy snow through Tennessee/North Alabama/North Georgia with the snow line probably about to crash through the NC foothills and piedmont.
  2. UKMET is too warm at the surface along the coast but it's close.
  3. The FV3 has been scoring awfully. I am so confident it won’t verify(but I hope that it does) that @Wow can change my username to whatever he wants if it verifies.
  4. Well, I guess I cant unsee the extracted data for my location off the 12z euro. 22 degrees with heavy snow and 850 temps near -10.
  5. The euro, by far, was the coldest model here and is currently verifying.
  6. Seriously, 5" into PCB with it almost being the biggest snowstorm in New Orleans history and thats just the start. As depicted, thats january 2000 levels of snow in eastern NC. I am pulling for all of us to get in the action though.
  7. A wave developing on an arctic front is way more realistic than what's been depicted in the mid range, though.
  8. You're looking at roughly 216-240 here. Probably still coming down hard along and east of the 70% line.
  9. I know it's a LONG way out but the entirety of North and South Carolina is snowing at 240 outside of roughly Edisto Island in SC and Ocracoke.
  10. That is probably at least a foot of snow along and east of 95 in NC extrapolating that out. Between 77 and 95, probably 8-12". Not as much west of 77 but nothing to sneeze at either.
  11. 4" of snow in Panama City this run. Wouldnt that be something to have a historic hurricane and a historic snowstorm in the span of 3.5 months? CC: @beanskip
  12. Looking at the euro late in its run, it has snow from charlotte to new orleans.
  13. It's just a brief warm up to normal between cold shots.
  14. It's warmer this run though. Nobody gets snow even if it's closer.
  15. I dont know why people are surprised when 168HR storms disappear. I've lost probably a couple hundred inches of snow at this range.
  16. 12z GEFS looks nothing like the EPS run that had such a strong storm signal. It’s either very right or very wrong.
  17. 23 degrees at practically 12PM at the wunderground station around the corner.
  18. The GFS honestly doesnt look bad. Arctic front snow is always fun.
