    The cold air does catch up around GSO eventually but it’s nowhere near the GFS. The Canadian looked similar last night but backed off at 12z. There’s basically nothing from the Lee side all the way to about Greensboro though.

    That is three runs in a row with a piece of energy rounding the base of the trough on Christmas Day. If it happens, it should enhance the snow in the mountains plus give some snow shower action east of the mountains. I doubt it’ll amount to much but considering I’ve seen snow on two of the forty christmases I’ve had on earth, I wouldn’t bitch if it happened.

    Looking at the GEFS ensembles, there’s 7/20 members showing at least a trace of snow on Christmas.

    Happy Hour GFS brought the goods again. Not as expansive as last night but still an event.

    I was going to say I felt like it took a significant step toward the GEM. We don’t lack but a degree or two as highs went down about 5 degrees on Wednesday.

    Wasnt much to see on the 12z Euro. Seasonally cool through the end after Sunday.

    The euro isnt as amped this run(also it's coming in super weird on weatherbell) but does appear to have snow from about a rough line from Columbus, MS to Birmingham to Atlanta to Charlotte. Somehow the snow line skips over the entire upstate.
