  1. Not sure yet how the storm system next week pans out but I say we name the thread title the President's Day Pounder.
  2. Looking forward to some thunder Thu evening. 3 weeks ago today we only made -8 for a high with 15" of snow otg. Today it's 50 with no snowpack. What a turnaround.
  3. Good shot at mid 60s here on Thursday. Just some scattered piles/drifts left at the moment, but even those will be gone by Tue or Wed. With the ground continuing to dry out the sky's the limit with temp potential.
  4. The President's day system looks very thread-the-needle but is definitely the next system worth watching.
  5. 57 at MLI today. 76 degrees warmer than 11 days ago when they hit -19.
  6. The omega block will be gone by this time next week. At least that's a step in the right direction at being able to get something meaningful to track. Would hope the pattern after that will allow for some storminess to return to the sub.
  7. 46 here today, 49 at MLI. Snow is down to scattered areas, piles, drifts.
  8. Several 50 degree days on the way over the next 10+ days. May even make a run at 60 here this Saturday. All of the snow will be gone by Thursday other than piles/drifts.
  9. Took longer than expected, but it finally cleared off around 1pm here.
  10. I suspect Mar-May will be cool and rainy with persistent east winds in southeast Wisconsin.
  11. Looking forward to seeing sunshine tomorrow after a full week of dark gloom.
  12. 26.7" here. Both MLI and DVN are over 30" as well. Definitely very happy considering everything.
  13. Looks like zero precip for the next 12+ days. Was a fun stretch but looks very boring going forward.
  14. Down to about 6" of snow here. Big decline from last week but still pretty deep.
  15. lol. Brood 13 coming mid to late April. Gonna be awesome.
  16. Had some fat partially melted flakes slapping the windshield on the drive in to work this morning, but otherwise was a 100% rain event here.
  17. Just plain ol' rain here. Picked up about 0.30" so far.
  18. The scant glaze of ice from this morning's freezing rain gave the snowpack a nice shine to it. Still got about 13" of fairly dense snow on the ground, now with a crusty surface. Mostly a rain event coming later tonight, but some models switch us over to some slushy wet snow. Should be 90% rainer though.
  19. Tremendous difference this evening compared to last evening. It's 23 right now, but at this time last night it was -14. Sayonara arctic airmass.
