  1. Pretty strong winds here in Bath, PA as the rain gets lighter. I’d say sustained at about 20 mph with gusts to 40-45.
  2. Drove to work from Allentown to Bath. 20-25 minute commute took about 30. No flash flooding...yet. I imagine there will be in the next hour or two.
  3. Moderate-heavy rain in Allentown. Starting to get a little breezy as well. Death bands right on our doorstep according to radar.
  4. Short range models are very interesting for the Lehigh Valley. Looks like we could see actual tropical storm force winds (not gusts) for a short time tomorrow. Which makes sense given that Isaias made landfall stronger than expected. Hoping the power stays on at home and work.
  5. Back to all snow here in Bath. Wonder if it’ll stay that way for the rest of the storm. Some models showed a brief period of sleet but changed us back to snow.
  6. Snow/sleet mix at my work in Bath, about 5 miles north of Bethlehem. We have just shy of 3 inches on the ground.
  7. NAM is a major outlier. No model is even close to being that dry. I’m thinking 3-5” for the ABE area, pretty much in line with the NWS.
  8. I’m struggling to understand how much of eastern PA gets 6-12” on all these models. The low passes through upstate NY and the high is in an okay position, but not great. What am I missing here?
  9. White rain in Allentown, not sticking to anything so far.
  10. Bypassed the rain and started as snow in Allentown. Steady light snow currently falling.
  11. Second heavy squall of the day in Bath. Everything is covered with a nice coating of snow.
  12. Bath, PA...just went out to my car and it’s covered in ice. Luckily the drive home from work is 95% on treated roads.
  13. Steady light snow at work in Bath, PA. Dusting on the deck.
  14. I’d say you guys are good for mostly snow from this. 3-6” and some freezing rain tomorrow morning. Models have been trending colder, they even keep Allentown mostly frozen now with a burst of heavy snow at the beginning.
  15. Light snow in Allentown. Not sticking to anything. Few more hours to go by the looks of the radar, maybe we can get a coating to an inch out of this.
  16. Check out the 12z 3km NAM and match it up to the current radar. It’s not even close. Especially in Tennessee and Kentucky.
  17. Just got to my work in Bath and at least it’s snowing there. Coating on some grassy areas.
  18. It is RAINING in Allentown, just to add insult to injury.
  19. Snow struggling to find its way to the Lehigh Valley. Just a few flurries so far.
  20. Honestly though, the RGEM and HRRR are worrying me a little. Went from warning criteria snow to a possible bust, just like that. Hopefully it means nothing and the models are just being silly...
  21. 12z models are pretty consistent with a very heavy band of snow somewhere in eastern PA or western NJ tomorrow.
  22. Sleeting hard in Allentown right now. 30F.
