Got basically nothing here in New Providence, but I'll take that over tornadoes like 15 miles to my north.

I remember a nasty storm on the Jersey shore in early July of 2012. One of the worst thunderstorms I've seen with high winds and a ton of lightning. I remember hearing that someone jumped off the sky ride in Seaside when it blew through. My avatar photo is from the storm with the crazy mammatus afterward.

Can hear a lot of thunder in the distance from that cell over Middlesex county.

My town went ahead with their fireworks tonight despite the storm damage. My power ended up coming back on after about two hours, but I noticed most streets were out while heading downtown. Twigs and small branches were everywhere, and a couple streets were impassible with downed limbs and power lines. Needless to say turnout at the fireworks was pretty low. Edit: Looking at the outage map, basically my entire town is out of power except for my little neighborhood, sheesh.

Insane storm here in New Providence. Pretty sure there was a microburst at one point. Power is out.

Saw the storm up in Morris county while biking.

I was down in Point Pleasant for a bit this evening. It was somewhat cool with a breeze on the boardwalk but hot and humid with no breeze less than a block inland.

Came through here. Heavy rain and a couple gusts of wind, but nothing to write home about. Looks like it strengthened as it came through, so areas to my east might get walloped.

Pretty potent storm down in Brick right now. Lots of lightning and strong winds on my security cams.

Pretty potent little cell that popped ahead of the line here in Brick. The bulk of it went just to my south but there's some gusty winds and lots of thunder.

Went for a bike ride down here in Brick. Absolutely brutal out, but there's a breeze at least. Now I'm ready for the storms to roll in.

There's a very light mist falling in Chatham NJ right now. Don't see anything on radar. Nice night out otherwise.
