This New England storm is crazy. Every model has a sick cutoff depending on exact track and elevation. Check this out:
Nothing to 24” in a few miles:
Time to move to Albany!

Storm won't get going until tonight. This is a Tuesday/Tuesday night event for the NE.
I'm looking forward to the backend Snow Showers.

It’s a shame that this can’t be “simple” storm that tracks from this position in Tennessee to off of the coast of the DelMarVa to bring us a run of the mill 3 to 6 or 4 to 8 type of event.
Instead, we have a complicated pattern that ends up mostly not working out for most of PA.
Frustrating considering where we stood on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week when most of the models had us looking at 2 solid Advisory level events.
This whole winter has been frustrating. I agree Blizz can’t get a Simple winter storm this year. Looks like we have to now wait for 23-24 winter.

PSU got the digital crayons out and drew several maps to depict why ITT4 is the best chance this month.
I think ITT6 is the better shortwave.

Say Hello to the low before it passes to clobber NE.

2.1" for me - of which, I've seen 0" while at home. The only times it snowed this entire season, I was at work. I have never in 57 years gone an entire season without seeing SOME snow on the ground at some point at my casa.
Get ready Mammoth ITT is coming to town!

I agree with you on this. I can’t remember a year we failed every storm. I was with Roundtop management last night. They can’t believe how many nights they couldn’t even blow snow this year. They close Sunday and couldn’t even do the pond skimming this year do to lack of snow. Most nights they did blow they said they typically would not have in the past. What’s everyone’s season total?
I round down. 0.00"
