She goes this evening after the wife gets home from work. Right now, with my left arm "tied up", I can't do much and it usually takes two people to get her into a carrier, so my mother in law is going to help. I'll definitely let you know.

As for everyday stuff, she still eats, drinks, uses the litterbox, and wants her treats. Her head is still crooked, but sometimes it's not as bad as Tuesday morning when I took the pic.

To keep this weather related, if we don't get some rain soon, cacti might start growing here...lol, although the GFS wants to bring some rain into the area beyond hour 240.

    I hope all goes well!

@paweather if you really want to go into tracker mode the Nam, over the last 4 runs, has been constantly driving the remnants of Sally further North and West to the point that the State Winners for 2020, SE PA, score quite well on the 18Z.  The trend is our friend?   It was suggesting this on some runs yesterday but had dropped it for the previous few runs.

It just seems like the Delaware Valley is the winner this season. I hope this trend doesn't last for winter.

The EC had something at 0Z but shunted it south and did not make it a risk like it is showing now.   Just peeked at the GFS and saw an area of disturbed weather but not a High level Tropical Storm of Cat 1 like the EC is showing.   I am going to Florida that weekend and the EC worries me a bit.

Hope things change a bit and you can get down there safely. I know Pensacola got hit pretty hard last night/today.

It's all about the money. Imagine the cash cow that is PSU football on a fall Saturday with 107,000 fans shelling out the dough that they (okay, I) do.

It is about the money for sure, but money this year won't be anything like a normal year. I realize the testing and everything else that goes on right now but value that these athletes worked their a$$es off to get to this stage and play Division 1 so I'm happy for them.

Big 10 back to football October 24

I think the Big 10 will look back at this and say "opps" They thought all the Power 5 conferences were going to take their lead on the decision not to play and that didn't happen. I agree that the PAC 12 has a different circumstance in these wildfires right now. Anyways more cloud smoke today. And Canderson it does look dry but at least fall temps into next week.

clouds that limit traditional cooling often live at lower levels...say  5,000-15,000 ft.

smoke from cali has to get to upper atmosphere plumes (noted at 55,000ft.) to make it here, and after 3,000 mile journey, are dispersed as they travel east.

Just saw this The smoke plume, 4-5 thousand miles across, is spoiling what would otherwise be sparkling, sunny September days in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. But it's high enough that it's not affecting air quality. It looks like Cloudy here in PA.
