  1. The Awakening Dawn: The End has just begun! (The Awakening Dawn Series): Nichols, James Warren: 9798579079169: Amazon.com: Prime Video Check out my page on Amazon, pretty cool to have something you worked on for over fifteen years finally be worth showing the world.
  2. makes sense that Worcester is ground zero for another three footer plus type of storm, while Cape Cod gets zero
  3. Yeah I will be focused on my writing for the time being, there is no true cold for the coastline.
  4. Wow, it seems that mega Greenland and Davis Straits block develops in time on the models that bring the storm near the BM and stalls it out. Honestly, the H7 and H5 lows are too far northwest for substantial snow on Cape Cod, but BOS does real well
  5. Next few storms in the seven day show potential for heavy rainfall. Nothing to see here!
  6. Happy New Year's Eve Everyone, my novel releases officially tomorrow. Also, while I will continue to watch for trends the next 72 hours, it seems the 3/4th system is all rain for me. Thanks!
  7. Wow, is that a falling star? Is that fire? Is that superman? No it's a World Ending Asteroid. Now, those are not the words of my upcoming novel being released on New Year's Day 2021 (01/01/2021), instead four catastrophic (category five or stronger) hurricanes make landfall in the western Hemisphere with the southern Lesser Antilles taking a direct hit from Category Five plus Hurricane Idalia, South Coast of Massachusetts Buzzards Bay, MA by catastrophic killer cane, Hurricane Harold, the Southeastern and southern Peninsula of Florida, fifteen miles south of Miami, Florida by Hurricane Gert, after the storm struck the Turks and Caicos, Texas and OK once Gert made it into the Gulf of Mexico and Franklin hitting LA, MS and AL coastlines with a record breaking surge height. Main characters Jack Irving and Abi Acheson engaged are working on their wedding planner which happens in less than three months, the six years and counting couple are ready for their next chapter, but the death of his mother, and the catastrophic storms put a hold on his climb to his dream job. So do they survive the chaos, or do they succumb to the nastiness? The Awakening Dawn, The End has Just begun!" James W Nichols - created by and written by Plan on a script in the future for a shot at a movie. Let's get an audience to like the story first. Let's spread the word amongst our social networks and get the word out that this story is alive and well. Thanks! James W Nichols (USCAPEWEATHERAF)
  8. My novel, being self-published on paper back and eBook forms on Amazon will become available for purchase on January 1st, 2021. My name is James W Nichols, with the title of "The Awakening Dawn: The End has just begun!" It would be nice to get a fanbase going and build it upwards. It is hurricane disaster based!
  9. Latest observations leaning to a slower northern stream flow and a slower southern stream flow, potential for stronger and quicker interaction between the two streams could lead to a quicker phase happening south of the region instead of east of the region. The lead disturbance has no lightning offshore of the NC Outer Banks. The main shortwave is still over the mid Southeast US states and is producing a stronger surface reflection in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. I think Cape and Islands, and as far west as the RI/CT border could be in for a surprise Monday night into Tuesday! I just have a slight idea, that the dynamics in play will behave differently then the 12z guidance showed!
  10. 09z Monday to 09z Tuesday could feature more snow then currently anticipated! Trough down in the Deep South looks to tilt negative sooner than the 12z guidance had this morning!
  11. 3km NAM has a big rain event for Monday into Tuesday here on the Cape, over an inch!
  12. That Tuesday storm continues to come westward with the phasing process of the storms. Models are bringing the storm closer to Cape and Islands!
  13. What does the 18z run show for the Tuesday clipper and H5 low?
  14. I am really intrigued by the huge H5 trough as it tries and closes off a large upper low over the Northern Mid-Atlantic States and tries and forms a coastal storm southeast of the BM by Tuesday night. I think the models come more in line with stronger development as the trough develops further and amplifies more throughout the next two days of model runs. Where a few inches of snow, turns into a potential significant event!
  15. Few OES bands developing in NE to NNE flow as 850mb an 925mb temps drop.
  16. WE have changed back to all snow now with a temp near 32F
  17. HRRR 20z run brings another 4" to the Cape tonight through tomorrow!
  18. Ocean Effect Snows will continue through Saturday morning across coastal Plymouth and Barnstable counties. 2-4" of snow additional is possible!
