Ya it's definitely looking good so far. We'll see how long it holds and how much it strengthens.Yikes at the ice build up! Amazing how fast that happened. Hopefully it'll be rather thin and melt some as long as we don't get a stretch of temps like last year.

Ya that seems right. My 1.5 may be low, but it was hard to measure. Is tonight through Weds still looking good?

Very little additional snow overnight. Looks like Chardon may be around 3". Did any bands get going? There looked like one in northern Geauga, but I don't think it stayed put for long.

Looks like 1.5" so far. Hard to measure with the wind whipped areas. Looks like lake effect bands starting now.

Good map OHweather, seems reasonable. Hrr shows 3-6 for most of Geauga County. Looks like snow has started.

Lol my wunderground app says 3-5 tomorrow and 1-3 tomorrow night. Not sure where it's getting that from.

I believe 290 should get things a little further south. Any way, should be a snowy week....finally.

Ya that wouldn't be good for us. Still early though. We are due for a good multi day event sometime. My phone temp was -1 this morning. Not sure how accurate that is, but wasn't expecting that cold.

It would be fitting if these leftover scraps turn out to produce more snow than when we were under the les warning lol.

It really is an amazing stretch. I didn't realize that at all. Keep in mind that is for the airport. The east side and out towards the areas that get lake effect have had 10" or so this season (still way behind normal though).

Getting a little bit of light snow starting back up. Not sure if it'll amount to much though.

Have 1" down so far. The Huron band looks intense. .. hopefully it doesn't race through too quickly.

Yep, radar definitely appears to have that green blob look to it. Up near London , that lake Huron band looks intense.

Looking forward to more snow chances coming up. It's been a boring start to winter. Getting some light flurries now. Just came back from Chardon and there was a dusting- .5" there.

Finally some snow chances look to be on the horizon starting end of the week and also a return to normal temps.

Congrats on a good storm! Hopefully the warm lake waters won't go to waste and we can get a good multi day significant event out of it this season.

I measured 3" just before the snow was winding down. Driving up 306, most seemed to be near that amount until you get near route 6. There was probably 5-6 there. Then it tapered off when I got into mentor with 2-3" here, but still snowing.

Nice surprise, a few quick measurements came up with 2". Finally looking like winter! Radar looks decent, almost has a NW flow orientation to the bands.

Awesome can't wait till it makes its way to the east! Just very light snow or flurries so far. Lake band looks to be getting started too.

Good disco Ohweather. I'm rooting for more of a northerly wind component lol. I'll be in mentor tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get to see a little of the action.

If a good band does develop to the north...I may just make a roadtrip. Need to get my snow fix lol.

Ya, I noticed earlier this morning that it was pretty warm. Seems to be cooler out now.
