Looks like there was a good amount of blowing and drifting on whatever fell yesterday and last night. Difficult to get an accurate measurement, but average of 4.5" new. Storm total 15.5". Depth on the deck is right at 15". Curious to see the updated totals from CLE. South Euclid already had 16" early yesterday.

Merry Christmas! Perfect winter wonderland out there I've got a depth of 11" on the deck. Looks to have been a widespread event , with even west side areas seeing almost a foot. Should add more throughout the day.

I've had 4.25" so far. Early on the snow was very low ratio, but appears to be getting higher now. Merry Christmas everyone!

Upgraded to a warning. Looks like a general 8-12" in the fc , possiblity more where the heavy lake effect sets up. Some models pulling east, something to keep an eye on for sure. Hopefully we can get lake enhancement to help.

Agree, seems other than the GFS, we are still sitting ok. We will have high ratios and lake enhancement on our side . The CMC, rgem are probably a bit over done, but may be best case.

Definitely liking the trends today. Hard to not get excited, but we've been burned before. Any amount of snow falling on Christmas will be great!

Ya, a W wind definitely benefits areas closer to the lakeshore. Never got cold enough here last night for any accumulation. Another odd morning write-up from CLE with no mention of potential significant impacts other than the hwo. Morning runs seem to have ticked west increasing snow totals a bit for us.

Ya I'm interested in how the short range models will set up the lake effect for Thurs-Fri. Hoping for something other than predominantly sw or straight w winds.

Yep, I had just shy of 3" since yesterday evening. Looking forward to end of next week. Looks like snow on Christmas and probably some lake effect after as arctic air finally makes an appearance.

Ya definitely. The Nam has been trying to throw snow back into Ohio for the past few runs. Seems to be increasing every run. Would be nice if there was support from other models.

I updated my post with the pregnancy link. I was incorrect, it's not complications, just as you mentioned, not recommend for pregnant women as they haven't been tested. Also , I thought I read you can still be asymptomatic and transmit the virus even after the vaccine. I'll look for the article..

Sure, but isn't it common knowledge that the main side effect is feeling like you actually have the china flu? I still question for those who decide to get the shot, how easy will it be to get the second one? Starting to see more stories about the nasty side effects from the vaccine as expected. That second shot will be a tough sell.

Heck of a storm. It's amazing the difference between this storm and a lake effect storm of the same amount. So much more substantial. I went by the house to plow the driveway. Had 3" additional since we left yesterday. Storm total of 20", matches well with Chagrin reported 20" and Chardon 22".
