Our whole warehouse is exhausted, we are completely exhausted, we are working around the clock to make sure product is getting shipped. I’m on OT and lots of it making $33 an hour. Be kind to the people making sure your shelves are stocked, it’s crazy guys. I just pulled another 16 hour shift.
Joe Rogan has a podcast where he has a medical expert on as a guest.. he said the thought that this virus just goes away with the season change is absolutely false.
I work for a warehouse that supplies groceries to surrounding stores, we are heading into mandatory 16 hour shifts right now.
J.B. pritzker ordered all schools closed through the end of the month. My grandmother is 85 and confirmed she’s never seen the world in this panic.
Same thing started for me Sunday evening. 103 fever, body aches, congested, nausea, chills. Finally ditched the fever yesterday. Had to burn 3 sick days this week.
Just had a flash of lightning here. Also woke up with the flu at midnight, man I hate this crap. The spring itch is in full force, and so is the desire for that first severe thunderstorm warning.
Just tagged 60 here. With the CPC outlook forecasting above normal temps, I put in for a vacation next week. Going to take advantage of some early spring weather.
Insane. Really puts into perspective just how mild of a winter this really was. My dad who lives 45 minutes SE of Champaign recorded 11.3” on the season. This winter really was 2011-2012 all over again.
Maintaining any kind of snowpack this winter has been nearly impossible. My longest snowcover this winter was 5 days. The 1.7” that fell yesterday is all but nuked from the late February sun.
I’m ready for longer days, more sun, warmer weather, boomers, and grilling. Just 10 more days and the days get longer. Hallelujah!
That being said, looks like I’m going to string together some 50’s to open the month. Bring it on!
Just went for a cruise in rural Champaign. The N-S are roads are becoming drifted with blowing snow very quickly. Winds gusting over 30MPH as the arctic air moves in.
Had a period of slop, but temps have warmed to 35 degrees and all rain here. Warming to about 40 degrees, probably wiping out the “snowpack” we had. We’ve struggled keeping any snow on the ground this winter.
