Hadn’t looked at the drought monitor in months, and yikes! Not a good look. C’mon Hoosier we know the real reason you posted this you are itching for 1936
We deserve a nice early spring. The majority of them since 2012 have been hot garbage. Cold and snow lingered into a lot of them until late April/early May.
58 here, got my smoker going with two racks of ribs, and spring fever is in full swing here too. Ready to turn the page on spring. Just started a fire in the back yard. Bring it.
Such a bizarre winter, other than the period of 2/7-2/21 nothing to exciting about it. First week of March looks very mild, I have sunny and 55 in my forecast next Wednesday.
Last weeks 8-10” snowstorm is almost a distant memory, never seen a 10” snowpack get nuked this quick in my life, even the massive parking lot piles are dissipating quickly.
Long days, green grass, grilling and severe season, give me all of it.
I am kinda glad. I bought a new Traeger pellet smoker/grill and I’m dying to use it. While this stretch was fun, and entertaining, wouldn’t mind some warmth.
Can’t take the ween out of a weenie. Another walk incoming. Rural Champaign is getting dumped on, sorry to bombard but I’m amped. This storm is so fun.
Puking snow again. Mother Nature do your thang, This storm is going in my top 5. Winds are cranking again, right around 25-30MPH. Plows have been told to retreat.
Heavy band incoming. Shits the real deal boys, this storm is so fun. Grabbing my AirPods and walking again.
Giddy doesn’t begin to explain my excitement. I’m on a high right now.
E-W roads are a disaster. Drifting already occurring in rural roadways. Almost showtime, the heavy rates are knocking on my doorstep. 1-2”/hr rates being mentioned. I want double digits. Would imagine Champaign will be paralyzed tonight /tomorrow.
