Moderate bands of snow just keep coming like a conveyor belt. Legit snowstorm now, I am 110.% satisfied. Winds are absolutely howling right now, steady gusts at 40mph winds.

Only 6” here in Champaign, the wind is the main story. Let’s see what wave #2 brings, another 6” would be great on top of 40mph winds. while I’m not complaining, this has been underwhelming SO FAR

Winds blowing harder than forecast it seems. N-S roads are a complete disaster. Near whiteout conditions.

No we have not. 3rd latest 1” snowfall on record. Stores are absolutely bonkers right now.

I’m almost shaking with anticipation and anxiety. We look locked and loaded for a historic event. The model consistency is just incredible to see.

Wondering if a blizzard warning will be issued for someone? I know this isn’t a strong surface low, but the criteria will definitely be close. I’m really liking my position right now. Deciding tomorrow to burn 3 personal days for W-F. This could be my biggest snowfall since 2/13/07.

Crossing fingers by tomorrow we are still locked and loaded. To say I’m giddy is an understatement. Thursday looks like blizzard potential.

Bought a Polaris ranger 1000 last spring, put a computer chip in it last month with a winch, it’s filled up ready to go. Let’s do this. I’m giddy.

GHD I was one of the biggest heartbreaks ever, it’s how I discovered this board and sleep was a rarity that week. GHD II was a whiff. March 25, 2013 came close to the elusive 12” mark but ultimately fell short, the last 12”+ snowfall was 2/13/07. These more wound up systems tend to trend north in the days/hours leading up the event. That being said, it’s fun to see a significant winter storm to this magnitude.

Finally cracked the ever elusive 1” snowfall total for the season, but like clockwork temps have warmed above freezing melting this mornings snowfall. Should next weeks system not pan out I’m ready to punt, this has been a disaster.
