  3. Five years ago today we had a tornado watch. I’m guessing nothing important resulted as I don’t remember it

  8. Today is the 67th anniversary of our greatest tornado ever.

  12. I’d take the August 2000 nocturnal supercell about 15 miles further north
  13. A repeat of 1954 would be an unbelievable event for here

  15. I need an INVEST to track failing no severe weather in the immediate future
  16. I remember the day of the Springfield tornado we got a vicious thunderstorm and it wasn’t until well after sunset. Not implying the two situations are comparable though
  17. In all my time on this board I’ve not seen less enthusiasm for a severe threat from the board participants as this. I suspect it’s more a case of “once bitten, twice shy” though. And nothing has happened YET either

  21. FWIW the 10am Boston forecast discussion seems to say game on for most of us later on. Even mentioned the enhanced risk extended East into NE MA
