    Hopefully (maybe?) if it’s intensity is peaking right now, it’ll slowly begin to weaken well before coastal impact

    A little further south would bring it into Ft Myers which was leveled just a couple of years ago

    My friends folks are going to fly back to Punta Gorda on Thursday night. Had to tell her I don’t think so….even if the hurricane lands north

    Hurricane David back around 1980 after it struck FL produced some very stormy weather up this way. edit: hit the east not the gulf side

    I wish the Atlantic Ocean had “super” designations for Atlantic hurricanes as well. Why do Typhoons get special treatment?(just trying to get some tropic related discussion going)
