    Had a heavy burst of rain with a snow mixture but it’s either stopped or lessened up considerably

    It’s not doing anything around here since this morning. And all areas in between seem to be reporting snow or snow/rain mix

    Have there been any “historical” snowstorms to hit on Christmas Day in the Boston area? I can remember snowstorms before and after Xmas but nothing on the actual day itself?

    What will happen first:? A snowstorm with 4+ inches for eastern SNE or the Red Sox actually following through with an impact free agent signing?

    This would be about the 50th time in the last year that inland seems to jackpot in a rainstorm as compared to the coast. That’s how it seems anyway

    I was pretty far away in eastern MA but I remember this day vividly. It was abnormally warm and humid and after my mother walked me home from school we had a tremendous thunderstorm (kinda rare in OCT here). And later on the 6pm news we heard about the tornado in CT
