  1. lol The trace to zero would cut right thru my backyard so that seems about right
  2. ‘93 was “biblical” but lately we’ve had MEH’ks
  3. I hate to be “that guy” but I’m pretty pessimistic about any significant accumulation locally. Just a hunch. No science behind it. Just eyeballing everything
  4. Had a heavy burst of rain with a snow mixture but it’s either stopped or lessened up considerably
  5. Maybe it’s so light I can’t really see it from my window.
  6. It’s not doing anything around here since this morning. And all areas in between seem to be reporting snow or snow/rain mix
  7. Well if that’s going to happen then I hope we get more severe in the warm months to balance out the atmosphere lol
  8. So now about 1,030 days since our last 4+ inch snowfall around here? (Eastern MA). That’s a pretty amazing statistic I think
  9. I know for a fact the word biblical was used for the March ‘93 superstorm. When I called Accuweather (remember those days? lol) the forecaster said it
  10. One day I hope to get a Christmas Day blizzard if I manage to live that long
  11. Have there been any “historical” snowstorms to hit on Christmas Day in the Boston area? I can remember snowstorms before and after Xmas but nothing on the actual day itself?
  12. Gotta say it’s nice to hear rain pounding on the roof again. It’s one of my favorite sounds Edit: except during a snowstorm
  13. What will happen first:? A snowstorm with 4+ inches for eastern SNE or the Red Sox actually following through with an impact free agent signing?
  14. This would be about the 50th time in the last year that inland seems to jackpot in a rainstorm as compared to the coast. That’s how it seems anyway
  15. Over 1,000 days since parts of E MA have seen over 4+ inches? Could that be right? edit: it feels like it here
  16. In other news, is it ever going to frigging rain again? I’ve given up on anything exciting happening so just make it rain as we desperately need it
  17. I was pretty far away in eastern MA but I remember this day vividly. It was abnormally warm and humid and after my mother walked me home from school we had a tremendous thunderstorm (kinda rare in OCT here). And later on the 6pm news we heard about the tornado in CT
