  6. Walked to Mendenhall glacier today and worked up a small sweat. Not a cloud in the sky and 75 degrees
  7. Partly cloudy 52 degrees and windy off the coast of BC..forecast high of 75 and partly sunny in Juneau tomorrow lol

  10. Reminds me of the October derecho a few years ago. All hell unleashed for about 10 minutes and then it was just over….
  11. As soon as it started to pour the thunder and lightning seem to have abated a bit

  14. Weird how the hazardous outlook highlights west and north of town for best severe chances but that latest update above seems to highlight the south?

  17. Regardless of rainfall this is probably the June with the darkest mornings I can recall
  18. Headed to the west coast for a cruise to Alaska later this week. It’s difficult to imagine even cooler summer weather than what we’ve been experiencing.

  24. Probably a dumb question but how does smoke from a fire hundreds of miles to the north and east of here retrograde back to the east coast? You would think steering currents would normally push it east or at least north?
