  1. Solid thump for them and another storm that falls just short of 6
  2. Yeah, but the precipitation field was more expensive. I wonder if that’s more because of the ULL passing through?
  3. Hgts increased/confluence weaker/kicker a hair quicker should at the very least have agreement with the op
  4. EPS out to hr72 the ridge is a bit further east but confluence weaker. I think we might see a slight improvement but nothing drastically worst then 18z imo
  5. It came further nw then 18z because confluence was weaker and ridge out west was better. If you cant see that difference I don’t know what to tell you nyc qpf is .5+ now on 18z idk if it broke .2
  6. It’s a huge improvement but for this to mean anything we need some eps support
  7. You can tell early on that this run would be better with how weaker the confluence was north of Maine. now we need the eps to hold serve or improve
  8. The kicker was quicker but the confluence was weaker which allowed the southern stream to do a lot of the heavy lifting
  9. The kicker was a bit quicker but confluence was weaker which allowed the southern stream to do all the heavy lifting
  10. Rockies ridge a tad stronger and confluence not as strong over the east coast
  11. Confluence weaker and Rockie ridge is a tad stronger this run. Should be good for the mid Atlantic
  12. Confluence is weaker over the East this run.
  13. Euro should come north a bit confluence not as strong over the east
  14. EPS stays the same which is probably the only positive keep in mind the eps never bought into the ops mega blizzard
  15. Agreed. For areas north of dca. Confluence has been trending stronger
  16. Need to ease the confluence but we haven’t don’t that all season
