  1. That’s a personal preference, similar to somebody that likes it cold when they sleep. Nothing wrong with it, but by now we would have had a few days already that required AC for most.
  2. Really can’t believe my heat has been more this month then the AC! I have not had the AC on yet this month and with the new climo that never happens in May.
  3. So basically last summer with thunderstorms and humidity but not many heatwaves
  4. Some are expecting a Niña but to early to tell. If we learned anything from the last two winters is it’s impossible to really know until late December. If we do see the same IO standing wave pattern next winter it will be important to have a weak PV.
  5. Yeah, a strong Niña could at the very least cool the tropical pacific
  6. We really need to see this IO standing wave pattern break for any hope of a cold 20-21 winter
  7. Looking more and more ugly next week with the cutoff
  8. Either way we will have warmer temps then the last month and half. Temps in the 70’s with a day or two in the 80’s.
  9. Models backing off the torch next week. More seasonable temps with some days cooler then avg.
  10. Pushing 90 next week with that look. The 11-15 day looks toasty. From 30 degree temps to 90 degree temps in a week
  11. We got all this blocking over the pole because the Uber PV from the winter finally broke down. With no signs of the waters cooling in the tropical pacific it will be very important to have a weak Pv if we want a winter next year.
  12. Let the 80’s come! No use for 31 degree weather in the middle of May
  13. When NYC is breaking record lows you know it’s a legit airmass. This morning temp of 34 broke the old record and coldest temps since 1891 in May.
