    Icon gives @dendrite a nice snowfall. Loosing a bit a hope I see much near HFD Saturday evening. Hopefully we get a few ticks colder the next few runs

    The northern stream doesn’t dig enough so it gets pushed out to sea. If the block trends stronger it’s probably something that could happen. The airmass is a bit marginal down here but for the interior it could work

    Yup. I think our first shot will be near or just after Christmas. I always like looking at the models in the long range once they sense the block. The gfs at 06z was really showing that in the long range

    You will have storms coming out of the southwest with the trough off the west coast. The northern stream disturbances wouldn’t have much room to dig IMO. Our best chance would be from a swfe. I know day 10 but the euro had a tasty look on the op for Christmas. Just shows the potential
