  4. Denver was -24 this morning which is the 3rd lowest temperature for the month of December ever recorded
  5. 31 inches of snow at MSP so far this winter
  6. You will still be waiting for a inch of snow come January 15th
  7. We will be waiting a while for that vortex to move out of Ak.
  8. 19/20 had blocking in December which produced a major sne snowstorm first week of the month. It broke down and we never got into a better pattern after that. To start January 20 we hit 70 which is likely this year as well
  9. I think it’s over after this week. Pv strengthening/mjo going ham and pac jet ext. reminds me of 19/20
  10. Brutal. Looks like another below avg snowfall winter with one or two storms at most
  11. Yup. And a continuation of the cutter/suppression track of the past few years.
  12. Not that I disagree, but it will be a few weeks until we see a cold Canada after Xmas Everything is completely flipped on where you would want it to start January.
  13. This has support with the strengthening PV, mjo torch phases and pac jet ext
  14. Will the North Atlantic ridge help us for next week?
  15. Brutal…..with another warm up around solstice. Any hope we flip in January to something more favorable?
  16. Going to torch! Do you think this is a 19-20 repeat?
  17. Nina January p7/8 is very cold for the Great Lakes and east….Hopefully we get a response from the mjo
  18. It’s going to take a while to reverse that…..hopefully we can enjoy the nice weather. Hints of change at the tail end of the ensembles but still not close to a winter pattern.
  19. If we get anything that cuts to our west after the 27th we will have record warmth
  20. @bluewave nailed this pattern….
