  1. NNE is going to suffer the worst. Best ski conditions will be on February when the late nina winter pattern comes
  2. So a cutter pattern you would prefer?
  3. Both the euro and gfs giving the Gulf of Mexico coast line winter precipitation
  4. Frustrating to see every op run just bury every piece of energy into the gulf. It’s very noisy with the northern stream which doesn’t help.
  5. I think February into March will be a good snow month for that area if we get a typical late winter Nina pattern
  6. The gfs giving snow to the oil rigs in the gulf
  7. Confluence was stronger… the shortwave was very amped up. Just weaken that confluence a bit
  8. Looks solid for that part of the country fwiw
  9. Euro was further north at 06z then 00z this morning. ironically, the cutter/ridge pattern since 2019 can helps us in this set up with getting the system further north
  10. 06z euro if it went past 144 hours would have been further north for the Monday system. The vort was strong and hgts not as suppressed. A cutter/ridge pattern can help us in a setup like this one
  11. The pattern doesn’t support a weak s/w coming out into the plains imo
  12. I wouldn’t give up on the 6th yet… but I get the frustration…
  13. The idv members on the eps seem to favor a further north solution
