  1. The block decays on the eps and pops a pna ridge out west
  2. Depends on if we can get something off the tpv to phase with a shortwave. Again, just looking for a inch of snow not a KU
  3. If we don’t get a inch of snow from this look I give up
  4. Only 35 currently at 1230pm chilly day
  5. @Heisy gets his storm to track on the 12z gfs for the 20th
  6. With Nina on the horizon for next winter that will be something to monitor in October. Thanks for the information
  7. The cold will be out west but it should bleed over to east after the 15th. I agree, it shouldn’t be challenging to drop that low with the depicted pattern after mid month
  8. What lead to the snowy 20-21 season and January 22?
  9. Euro has been deadly accurate with that storm so far from 7-8 days out
  10. Do you see a mild risk towards months end with the mjo? I have my doubts we see a sustainable +pna in February with how bad it’s been lately
  11. Nice column… Lots of ice shots from the water with the cold temperatures this morning
  12. We will get below 19 between the 15th and 18th imo
  13. I guess that’s the fear, next week is cutters then we go cold dry between 15th-18th before the pattern resets. I don’t like how the ensembles are pulling the trough back after the tpv swings through in the extended. At the very least I don’t see some pac ext which would lead to pac puke invading the country. We should keep the cold anomalies in the west. For an east coast snowstorm don’t we want the tpv south? It seems lately it has been a meat grinder and not playing nice in the few times it has swung through
  14. Thanks @bluewave for the hope yeah, should be interesting around the country the next few weeks. I’m hopeful we get something before January ends.
  15. Many are calling for it like Snooki and Bluewave… We hope they are correct
  16. Quietly, this will be the coldest night of the winter so far. Down to 29 already with the wind making in feel much colder
