Hopefully we’re not entering a multi week period of zero threats. It’s obviously going to get warm next week but Canada does look to stay cold.

Geps gefs don’t have that look. Even the weeklies kick the ideal look to mid month. That h5 look posted above is cold in the northeast but probably very dry verbatim

Mjo looks to be slowing down in p6. I don’t think it’s going to be a quick transition back. Typically with strong ninos it’s a two week winter down here

The meso models already showing lesser totals on LI and down the Hudson valley. In this set up with light returns the dry air coming down from sne can really eat away at the snow -
I think nyc and LI will have huge issues with dry air with this storm

You didn’t expect much but was still disappointed? 2 inches with frz rain all day is a decent event in my eyes.
