  1. We can’t use typical enso responses anymore in this new climate. Backloaded February Ninos are not a lock anymore. I think we are cooked outside a light event in early March that doesn’t stick in Central Park
  2. It will be very hard to flip the script on that look to a cold/snowy one before winter is over
  3. Yeah, euro back to reaching 60 in CT Friday. As for the first 5 days of February? Absolutely ridiculous, February is supposed to be cold in a Nino. The mjo is absolutely ruling the roost and have changed our winters
  4. Why would you believe the gfs and gefs when everything was against it?
  5. You would know better then me, but imo it’s a -epo pattern with a trough stuck in the sw. Not to over analyze but all the cold anomalies are in the southwest. It looks like if the pattern was rolled forward it would improve with hgts rising
  6. Haha. @MJO812 did you even look to see if p6 was cold In February?
  7. Yikes….. @40/70 Benchmark doesn’t deserve those comments… it’s just weather bro
  8. 2005 had a special stretch for our local area
  9. One of my favorite storms. ULL came through the next day and dropped 3-6
  10. Olr maps have the p7 wave weakening then convection development in p1
  11. I hope you’re correct…my fear is the trough gets stuck in the west for another week
  12. Do you think winter is over for significant snow?
  13. You would need to ask him as I won’t speak for him without knowing. He likes to take forecasting 2 weeks at a time
  14. Your seasonal stuff has been excellent to read. I don’t do long range stuff but applaud the ones that do. If you’re wrong you get called out and if you’re correct it gets forgotten about. @bluewave seems to be one step ahead of everyone currently.
  15. Can’t shake all the warm waters in awful mjo phases
