  1. There are also several webcams along I81 in northern Oswego county on 511ny.org.
  2. And about 5 miles north of me. I’ll be sure to stand outside and enjoy the 40 mph wind blowing into the band.
  3. It’s hard to get too excited about this event here. Too far East for synoptic snow and too far south for lake effect. Guess I’ll get my popcorn and beer and be a spectator.
  4. I ended up with about 5.5 inches overnight. It’s still snowing lightly but I doubt it will amount to much.
  5. It’s let up considerably as the heaviest squalls have moved south of here. I’m at about 3 inches most of which fell between 7:45 and 9:45.
  6. I’m not sure exactly where you are in Clay but the heavy stuff must be just to your north.
  7. Huge parachutes falling, piling up fast. Getting close to 2 inches now.
  8. It’s pouring snow here right now. About an inch down already.
  9. KBGM’s map. They’ve got me in the 8-12 bordering on the 12-18!
  10. Another 2.5 inches since 7:30 brings the total to 4.5 inches. This has turned out to be a nice little overachiever for this area. Snow intensity is winding down although there’s still some large flakes coming down.
  11. Just over 2 inches here and still snowing heavily.
  12. Like Syrmax I had about an inch of snow and 0.23 liquid. I knew things were going south when the temperature jumped into the upper 30s last evening. It slowly fell back into the mid 30s when the precipitation started as rain. Close to the first hour of precipitation was in the form of rain or RASN which might have cost me close to an inch of snow accumulation. Even when it flipped to all snow the temperature was 33 and accumulation was not very efficient.
  13. Finally flipping over to some real snowflakes here.
  14. I don’t know what is falling here. Some of it is frozen but the “flakes” are so small you need a microscope to see them. Currently 35 degrees.
  15. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM WEDNESDAY TO NOON EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected with patchy freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with a light glaze of ice accumulation. * WHERE...Northern Oneida, Yates, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Schuyler, Tompkins, Madison, Southern Oneida, Cortland, Chenango and Otsego counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM Wednesday to noon EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
  16. Typical Spectrum. I’ve been having issues with my cable with them that I never had with Time Warner. Good thing I can use my cell phone as a hot spot.
  17. It’s been moving to the north the last couple of runs. About another 100-125 miles would be fine.
  18. 10.5 inches from this storm and 4 from round 1 gives me 14.5 over the last 3 days.
  19. I measured 3.1 inches between 1 and 7 which added to the previous 7.3 gives a storm total of 10.4 inches so far.
  20. Looks like a possible cutter at the end of the run.
  21. I think we bottomed out right around 29.00 - far from a record. The lowest pressure must have been in the lower Hudson Valley where the low pressure center was located.
